HireSort helps recruiters evaluate candidates. Job descriptions, CVs, and notes you enter are processed to provide scoring, exports, and related features. Treat everything you upload as confidential personal data for your organization and for candidates.

Data we process

We store account details you provide (name and email), your screening sessions, criteria, uploaded or emailed files, extracted text, and model-generated scores and explanations needed to run the product.

Model providers & training

Scoring and analysis use third-party AI APIs (for example Groq) under your deployment's configuration. Whether content is used to train public models depends on those providers' terms — review their policies and your enterprise agreements. We do not sell your candidate data to advertisers.

Security & hosting

Use HTTPS in production. Where data lives (region, cloud provider) depends on how you deploy HireSort. Configure hosting, backups, and access control to match your company policy.

Retention, export & deletion

You can export session and candidate data from the app where the feature is available. Deleting a candidate or session removes that data from the application database and upload storage as implemented. Long-term backups (e.g. database snapshots) are your responsibility on self-hosted or cloud setups — align with your retention schedule and legal duties to candidates.
